Prospective authors are invited to prepare an abstract of 400 words
maximum of their proposed paper in English. This has to contain
enough details to clearly convey approach and results of the work,
the idea behind, and the very reason why it should be considered
an interesting message for the reader. Previously published parts
should be kept short and declared as such.
Abstracts must include:
- Paper title
- Author name(s) and proposed presenter
- Mailing address
- E-mail of the author(s)
- The adequate CIPA Working Group (if applicable)
- Key words
For the keywords please refer to the list attached to the abstract form.
Abstracts should be submitted electronically, using the
abstract form.
Only if on-line submission through the website is not possible,
the abstract should be prepared referring to the above instructions
and sent by e-mail as an attachment to the Symposium Secretariat
(file .pdf or .doc).
Abstract deadline
Abstract must reach the Organizing Segretariat by
February 28,
2005.
Payment of registration fee entitles the registrant to submit and
present maximum two papers. After the abstract is registered, it
will be forwarded to the Chairpersons of the
Working
Groups for reviewing, acceptance and classification. The
final decision on the programme and inclusion of topics will depend
on the response to the Call for Papers and the availability of time
and space. The Local Organizing Committee will inform the authors
about the status of their papers latest by
01 April 2005.

and interactive poster presentations in the Symposium Sessions will
be communicated upon acceptance of abstracts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: papers will be published
only if they are covered by the payment of the registration fee
by
01 June 2005 (last computer control run for acceptance
and inclusion into the final programme and proceedings volume).
Papers not covered by the registration fee by
01 June 2005
will be cancelled.
The Abstract Book will
NOT be published as a hard copy, but
abstracts will be available on the Symposium website.
Full manuscripts - prepared according to the above mentioned guidelines
and ready for print - must reach the Organizing Segretariat by
01
June 2005.
They can be sent to the Symposium Secretariat either:
- electronically via the web site of the symposium or
- by e-mail as an attachment (file .pdf or .doc)
The Proceedings will be available at the symposium registration
desk.
Best Poster Awards
The best posters of each CIPA's working area will be selected for "BEST POSTER AWARDS".
Authors should be prepared therefore to deliver their posterto CIPA by the end of the symposium.
It will be part of a CIPA exhibition during the next ICOMOS event.
The winners will be published in the internet as well as CIPA annual reports.
